What's the Story on this custom made horn, you ask?

This horn was as new when purchased as the man who had it built felt that he wanted a larger bore horn and subsequently had it built. At the time this horn was made, Mr. Taylor was using Yamaha 6335 valve blocks and wrap.  He married this to a [Burbank] E benge bell from the 50's or 60's using a custom lead pipe.  The Bell is marked Resno Tempered Bell built by E Benge 1122 W. Burbank Blvd Burbank, Ca. It is a 459 bore horn [we measure it at 0.463"] and has a couple of small spots from use (very few) and  the valve block is mint. The horn is in excellent condition.  There is one dent repaired on the second valve slide.  The work was done by BAC Horn Dr.  Other than a few very small scratches or dings that are not photographable the horn is in excellent condition.  The valves are flawless and fast and the horn has a 4 3/4 inch bell.  It will be shipped in a Besson softsided bag which will protect the horn, but is not mint and has signs of use.  I would call it serviceable and in fair condition.
