Yamaha Student Trumpet

This is a Yamaha student trumpet in Great playing condition!  This trumpet is ready for band, ready to play.  The gold-colored lacquer finish is in good shape as there are no dents and only a small area on the bell where you can see that it has been worked on.  Please see photos below showing that original bell was very smashed in, a replacement Yamaha student bell from another model student trumpet was installed and repaired to look good.    The original trumpet was a newer Yamaha Advantage trumpet and the bell came from a slightly older student trumpet.

Mechanically, this trumpet is in great shape - the valves are in excellent shape, work well with good compression and slides all are free and work well.  We just serviced the trumpet which includes disassembly, internal ultrasonic cleaning, ding/dent removal as shown and described, check and replace valve pads and check waterkey corks, and then re-assemble and polish.

The trumpet plays GREAT -- nice big Yamaha sound!

This one is priced well under what we normally sell these student Yamaha trumpets for because it has had the replacement bell put on but still functions like a newer Yamaha.  The servicing done help make this a real value.  When you consider new Yamaha YTR-2335s sell for over $900 and locally rent for $35-40 a month, you can't go wrong.  This one will be less than a year's rent!
