This is a Bach Stradivarius professional Model 37 trumpet built in the USA.  This one is in average condition and plays fine!  The serial number is 251xxx which would indicate a 1985 manufacture date, a good period for Bach trumpet building.

The trumpet has just been completely serviced which includes: complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of all parts, replacement of valve pads and checked waterkey corks, re-assembly and alignment of slides, shining and play testing so it is completely ready to play.  The silver finish is in fair to good condition --- looks to be 40-50%.  Accessible dings or small dents were removed during servicing.  The valves look good and have good compression.  Slides all move freely as they should and the 1st and 3rd work well.  The previous owner had acidic hands and there are areas where the hand holds the trumpet where the silver-plating has worn through to the brass.  As well, the leadpipe will need some attention in the next 4-5 years as there is some redrot present and eventually, it will need to be replaced, depending on the user's care and use.  This trumpet play well with a rich Bach sound.

2. Not so good - worn finish in areas, leadpipe will need replacement in 4-5 years
